Dosakaya Mutton curry

mutton cucumber curry

Ingredients

Mutton 1/4 kg
cucumber 1 medium size
onion 1
green chillies 4
oil 2 spoons
cloves 4
elachi 2
cinnamon 1 inch
ginger garlic paste 1/2 spoon
turmeric 1/4 spoon
salt to taste
red chillipowder 1 spoon
tamarind 1 flake
coriander leaves some



Method
soak tamarind in 1 cup of water.
clean mutton pieces 4 to 5 times with water
add turmeric ,salt ,red chillie powder and ginger garlic paste in mutton pieces and mix all very well.keep it aside.
cut onions and green chillies into small pieces.
peel cucumber and clean with water.then cut into medium size pieces(mutton size pieces) .taste the cucumber if it is bitter or not.
some cucumber seeds has bitterness.it can changes the taste of the curry .so donot forget to taste every  cucumber after cutting it.
1.add oil in a pan.
2.after heating the oil add cloves ,elachi,cinnamon.
3.fry for 20 seconds.add onion and green chillie pieces.
4.fry till onions turn into golden colour.
5.add  malinated mutton pieces.mix all.and cook for sometime.
6.cook in low flame.cooking of  mutton can take more time than chicken.
7.in low flame mutton  pieces become so soft.
8.after some time water coming from the mutton pieces.
9.cook till water in the curry totally evoparated.
10.then add cucumber pieces and cook for 3 minutes.
11.extract juice from soaked tamarind flame.
12.add this in the curry.
13. in this curry donot  need more soar.adding tamarind is optional.
14.if you donot like soarness avoid to add tamarind juice.
15.but adding little bit of tamarind juice can increases the taste of the curry.
16.taste the curry if salt and spicy enough or not.
17.if you want add more salt and red chillie powder.
18.cook for 5 minutes.
19. when oil is coming from the curry add coriander leaves.put off the flame.
